Roles & Responsibilities – Job Openings at Eightfold.AI
- Develop, deploy, and maintain automated support infrastructure for a product
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to ensure the smooth operation of the product and to improve the quality of support services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for automation
- Design, build, and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines for product support systems and tools
- Monitor, analyse, and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving issues, and providing recommendations for improving efficiency and scalability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with product support systems and tools as they arise
- Participate in on-call rotations and address production incidents as they arise
- Provide training and support to other team members to ensure successful adoption of automation tools and processes
- Develop and maintain documentation and runbooks for product support automation infrastructure and processes
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the product is designed with supportability in mind and incorporate support requirements into the development process
- Participate in product release planning and testing to ensure that product support automation infrastructure is prepared for new releases.
Experience & Skills Required – Eightfold.AI Software Automation Engineer Jobs 2023
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps or Automation Engineer role
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated support tools, scripts, and processes
- Experience in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline development and management
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging issues with support automation infrastructure and product support systems
