- The candidate should be passed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Job Description – Nextracker Job Openings in Hyderabad
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to maximize coverage of software functionality.
- • Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system;
- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify test requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications.
- Analyze test results and report bugs and issues to the development team using bug tracking tools.
- Participate in test case reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automated testing and quality assurance.
Experience & Skills Required – Nextracker QA Automation Engineer Jobs 2023
- The Candidate have 2-3 years Automation experience is required;
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, specifically Selenium WebDriver and Python.
- Proficiency in writing efficient and maintainable automation scripts using Python.
- Experience with web application testing, including testing across different browsers and platforms.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Experience with Agile methodology and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools/frameworks such as Appium.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with the tools such as Postman, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Familiarity with database testing and SQL.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or automation (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium WebDriver certification) are a plus.
