- The objective of this position is to facilitate, through automation, the Delivery of code to our customers.
- Specify, manage, automate and monitor the software build environment standard & processes.
- Co-ordinate with the teams to ensure that software delivery schedules are met.
- Continuously improve the processes under which the team operates and delivers releases.
- Experience in Agile Methodology and Agile Engineering practices, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, SAFe.
Experience & Skills Required – OpenText Software Engineer Jobs 2023
- Experience on DevOps tools like, Docker, Kubernetes, Git , Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansible, chef and puppet.
- Experience working with building CICD pipelines, configuration management, provisioning of infrastructure.
- Good coding skills in any programming language i.e Java/Python, Bash JS – NodeJS, Go Lang and groovy
- 2-4 years of relevant experience focused in DevOps, systems administration, application development, build, release and deployment
- Needs to have extensive knowledge on Linux.
- Great communication skills and knows how to work effectively within a diverse team
- Outstanding engineering talent proven by great work results and experience.
- Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment
- Engineering Degree in Computer Science or another technical/engineering discipline
- Self-motivated but does well in a team based environment. Strong initiative and enthusiasm.
- Experience in core enterprise applications, application development tools is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of change management and testing requirements, techniques, and tools.
- Ability to create constructive relationships with scrum team.
- Ability to fix complex, cross-functional problem
