- Relevant technical education (electronics/computers science/engineering) – obligatory
Responsibilities – NCR Corporation Job Openings
- Investigates assigned incidents through to resolution or error identification
- Coordinates actions of others as necessary to assist with analysis and resolution actions for problems and Known Errors
- Monitors progress on the resolution of Known Errors and advises 2nd Level support staff on the best available Work-Around for Incidents related to unresolved Problems/Known Errors
- Assists with the handling of major Incidents and identifying cause
- Create JIRA records and perform root cause analysis before escalation
- Escalates issues for resolution, to avoid reoccurrence and trends
- Provide pro-active trend analysis
- Facilitating and coordinating technical meetings.
- Leading and PIR investigations into high impact faults

- Adhere to NCR Policies and Methodologies and those of the customer (if working on site or governed by these policies)
- Use industry Best Practice, based on ITIL foundations
- In depth understanding of the Retail IT systems, preferably with fuel.
- Understand software environment and development paths as well as those of our clients
- Understand the customer’s business
- Work in a team environement, based across the APAC region
- Complete other related tasks as required by key stakeholders
Technical Skills Required – NCR Corporation Software Support Engineer II Jobs 2024
- 2-3 years’ experience as client facing technical support
- Experience with performing and coordinating RCA and trend analysis
- Knowledge of Windows operating system architecture and security
- Understanding of Microsoft applications
- Understanding technical specifications
- Analysis of business requirements
- Strong knowledge of SQL, preferably with SSRS
- Thai language capability – Read / Write / Speak
- Strong analytical thinking
- Experience with Retail Systems, preferably with Fuel
