Responsibilities – Elanco Off Campus 2024
- As an GCP Developer, you will be responsible for migration to Google Data Cloud or implementing data solutions using Google Data Cloud services.
- Designing, developing, and deploying scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Implementing best practices for cloud architecture, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on GCP
- Participate and help develop data engineering community of practice as a global go-to expert panel/resource.
- Develop and evolve new or existing data engineering methods and procedures to create possible alternative, agile solutions to moderately complex problems.
Qualification & Skills Required – Elanco Analyst – Business Support IT Jobs 2024
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of data pipeline and data product design, development, delivery experience and deploying ETL/ELT solutions on Google Big Query and Data Flow.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with  GCP services i.e., Big Query, DataProc, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Composer, etc.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in programming languages like Python, Scala and Java.
- Big Data technologies such as Spark/SparkSQL, Hive, and streaming technologies like Kafka.
- Extensive knowledge and hand-on experience in SQL.
- Knowledge on Distributed System
