Experience & Skills Required – AMETEK Cloud Development Engineer Jobs 2023
- Practical application of AWS technologies including but not limited to EC2, S3, relational databases, and MSK.
- 2+ years of experience in software development using Java or C#.
- Knowledge of AWS elements that would be leveraged in a very high-performance transactional system.
- Experience with object-oriented development (OOD) and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Demonstrable ability to own and deliver projects and results of increasing technical complexity.
- Demonstrable ability to analyze problems, diagnose root cause, and apply corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Other Beneficial Skills:
- Experience is M2M/IIoT industry
- Worked with automated deployment tools like Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.
- Experience with IoT connectivity protocols like MQTT, CoAP, or LWM2M.
- Experience with EC2, S3, Kafka, and extracting data from data stores to provide APIs to external parties.
- Conceptual or practical knowledge of Multithreading
- Octopus Deploy and VSTS
- Kubernetes and Docker Container experience on Azure
