Job Role & Responsibilities – Arista Networks Off Campus 2024
- As an Apprentice Trainee in our Sales Engineering team, you will join a group of industry experts and technical leaders.
- Reporting to the System Engineering Manager, you’ll collaborate with skilled field engineers and contribute to aligning our solutions with our clients’ larger business goals.
- You’ll work closely with our Product Management and Software Development teams to steer product developments and strategic direction.
Qualification & Skills Required – Arista Networks Off Campus 2024
- Pursuing or recently completed a BE/BS/CS/CE technical degree.
- Interest in obtaining Network Industry Certifications (e.g., CCIE (R&S), JNCIE) preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge in L2/L3 networking design and implementation.
- Familiarity with routing and switching, including L2/L3 protocols (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba).
- Interest in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of network overlays preferred.
- Understanding of Ethernet, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, BGP, eBGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, and QoS.
- Familiarity with industry-standard CLI.
- Interest in SDN and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) desired.
- Basic programming skills in Python and Ansible for network automation.
- Awareness of competitive products, solutions, and services.
- Ability to write white papers is a plus.
