Job Description – CommBank Off Campus Freshers 2023
- Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for enhancement and development
- Assist with preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments
- Contribute to the technical design of system enhancements
- Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production
- Software development and quality control of software developed by geographically disperse team
- Troubleshoot complex deployment and environment issues.
- Work within in a team environment and provide assistance in the management and leadership of your team and complete associated tasks
Experience & Skills Required – CommBank Off Campus Freshers 2023
- Software engineering or equivalent IT degree
- Strong experience in designing and building Docker containers
- Strong experience packaging enterprise applications into Docker containers.
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools (e.g Git/GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience in automating repetitive tasks using Ansible, Python, shell scripting, etc.
- Experience in software/infrastructure platform development, management and operations
- Experience (desirable) in vendor application deployment and management

- Basic understanding of DevOps/SRE Best Practices: Logging, Monitoring, Security
