Cvent Off Campus Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• 2+ years of experience as a Team Leader or similar role
• 6+ years of experience in developing automation for AWS cloud operations
• 4+ years supporting AWS production environments across multiple accounts and regions
• Prior experience managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, configuration automation using Chef or similar
• Object-Oriented Software development in Java, Typescript
• Exposure to Windows, Linux administration skills
• Working with APM, monitoring, and logging tools (DataDog, Splunk)
• Project management tools like Jira
• Prior experience in dealing with Datastore technologies like Postgres, MySQL, SQL, DynamoDB is desirable
• Familiarity with security and cloud engineering concepts with application in AWS cloud via resources such as IAM, Lambda, Config
• Good understanding and experience in AWS network resources such as VPCs, security groups, VPC peering, and Transit Gateway
• Good understanding of Agile SDLC, code reviews, debugging and release processes
• Good problem-solving skills, enthusiastic work approach, and self-motivated
• Must be able to work with distributed teams
• Good understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure security, and database technologies

• Lead key cloud infrastructure initiatives that align with our critical business objectives
• Take charge of planning and collaborate cross team ensuring effective communication of decisions made, ensuring projects progress towards best practices, and organize team initiatives
• Identify team goals and evaluate team progress
• Correspond with our customers, gathering feedback from their experiences and proposing designs and implementation strategies to provide more reliable cloud services
• Ensure smooth collaboration with other teams across Cvent’s Technology divisions, including Site Reliability Engineering, Enterprise Services, and Security.
• Help eliminate technical and other blockers and resolve conflicts
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to associate level team members and help to define and drive best practices across the division
• Adhere to philosophy of Automate Everything
