Responsibilities – eBay Off Campus 2024
- Build close partnership with the business unit to Identify and Explore areas of impactful analytics and operational opportunities to help drive Operational efficiencies and Cost Reduction
- Establish a monitoring framework for business initiatives and ensure business unit is alerted in case of Issue.
- Support data requests and data analysis for Tax Audits
- Develop advanced Data visualization and Insight driven Analytics
- Post-launch monitoring: measure performance of features and programs post launch and report back to product and business teams.
- Promote a self-serve analytics culture for the organization by educating partners on key reports, data, and interpretation best practices.
- Maintain a close and pro-active collaboration with other business functions like Customer Services, Legal and Finance teams to ensure visibility across functions
Qualification & Skills Required – eBay Data Analyst, Advanced Analytics Jobs 2024
- Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity
- Excellent technical skills for data analysis and process development, especially SQL.
- Proficient in data visualization and Self-serve tools like Tableau
- Python and Alteryx skills are also good to have.
- A proven track record of end to end analytics – problem definition, collating the required information, analyzing the results, synthesizing and communicating a compelling argument and influencing partners to act
- Experienced in handling big data (Hadoop, Teradata, etc.) and agile experience
- Ability to translate commercial requirements into software solutions
- Capable to work independently while acting as part of a global tax team
- Experience in Advanced Analytics and proven knowledge in SQL and Python programming language is advantageous
