The Candidate have 3 to 5 years of proven experience in software quality engineering and test automation
Proven experience, to write clean code in any OOPS language.
Must have experience working on Linux/Unix Environments
2+ years of experience on Automation scripting languages such as Python and/or Javascript.
Working knowledge of unit test libraries (Selenium, Protractor, Jasmine, Pytest)
Good Analytical skills in inspecting web-applications, for UI controls and ways to handle/interact with them,using Javascript, JQuery, XPath and CSS.
Working knowledge of Version Control Tools (TFS/GIT)
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies,tools and processes
Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Knowledge in both white box and black box testing
Knowledge in automated testing tools
Preferred:
Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
Prior experience working with RESTful/SOAP
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Prior experience working within an engineering environment.
Prior experience with Ruby, Cucumber or similar test scripting language
