Job Description – IBM Data Engineer Intern Jobs 2023
- Deploy Cloud Pak for Data for IBM clients across various platforms
- Deploy AI and Machine Learning solutions for clients on Cloud Pak for Data
- Help define Cloud Pak for Data architectures that operationalize the platform and map relevant client use cases to satisfy key stakeholders and drive business value
- Assist client development teams with Cloud Pak for Data environment setups, testing scripts, deployments, and production operational metrics/debugging information
- Leverage customer data assets to optimize profitability, grow customer relationships, improve experience and satisfy business need
- Ensure consistent data quality, establish data standards and governance, integrate data between on premise and cloud both operationally and analytically
- Optimize data retrieval and develop dashboards, reports and other visualizations for stakeholders
- Communicate with internal and external clients to understand business needs and deploy successful analytical solutions
- Work in an agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other scientists, engineers, and database administrators of all backgrounds and disciplines to bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of predicting behaviors

- You have strong technical and analytical abilities, a knack for driving impact and growth, and some experience with containerization, programming/scripting
- You are great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, and designing & implementing solutions to complex technical issues

Required Technical and Professional Expertise – Freshers Job Vacancies In Bangalore
- Must have experience with statistical programming language (ex: R, Python, SAS or Java)
- Deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and data integration needs
- Good technical experience of Linux OS, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes and how they are configured to support cloud-ready applications and workloads.
- Understanding of cloud-native Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platforms, cloud platforms like IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, GCP
- Strong client facing, communications and collaboration skills
- Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts such as regressions, time series, mixed model, Bayesian methods, clustering, etc., to analyze data and provide insights
- Understanding of solutions on multiple public and private clouds
- Understanding of data usage, process analysis and improvement, technology development/support
- Experience writing complicated database SQL queries (Oracle, PostgresQL, Hive, etc).
- Experience implementing operational best practices such as monitoring, alerting, metadata management
- Experience in open source Machine, and Deep Learning frameworks, model validation and deployment tools, data pipeline technologies, and visualization and data storytelling tools
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Experience with multiple model development tools: notebooks, Data Robot, H2O.ai, IBM
- Watson Studio and other public cloud provider’s ML solutions
- Experience on distributed MPP platforms including Cloud Data Platforms, Hortonworks/Cloudera Hadoop, and Spark
- Experience using RESTful APIs, GraphQL
- Experience with technologies such as: Hadoop Ecosystem, Hortonworks/Cloudera
- Distribution, HBase, Hive, Spark/PySpark, Kafka, HDInsight, Elasticsearch, Streamsets, Apache NiFi, BIGQUERY and various datastores such as MongoDB, HDFS, S3, and Azure Storage, SQL
- Experience implementing tools like Cognos, Tableau
- Experience of RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server and ETL technologies like SSIS
- Experience ensuring adherence to data quality standards and/or use of data catalogs
- Industry specific understanding of data, processes (FSS, Insurance, Retail etc.)
- One or more internship or co-op experiences
