- Act as the subject matter expert across internal tools, datasets and external platforms that support the Platform Product
- Deliver and execute on plans for deploying approved enhancements to processes and technologies that support the overall suite of platform products
- Identify and document enhancements that resolve deficiencies in internal processes and tools
- Identify and document undocumented features in the external product offering through conversations and update existing documentation
- Support the product management team in go to market activities as required, including but not limited to developing presentations, training and demonstration materials and tools
Experience & Skills Required – Intercontinental Exchange Careers Jobs 2024
- Previous experience as a technical Business Analyst, or other technical discipline
- Must have excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Must be a self starter able to take ownership of tasks drive projects through to completion
- Knowledge and experience using query languages for the interrogation and transformation of data: e.g. SQL, PowerQuery, or advanced use of Excel and VBA
- Knowledge of scripting languages for the transformation of data, e.g. Python, and intermediate ability to program in one of .NET, Java and or C++ is desirable
- Knowledge of market data feeds and APIs (deployment, access, delivery, and monitoring), both normalized and native
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to supervise, organize, prioritize workload and work on numerous projects/tasks at one time
- Ability to work with technical teams (QA and development) as well as sales and end users
- Software: Jira, Visio (or other diagraming tool), MS Office
- Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline
