Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, testing, deployment and operations of features in the Product working closely with Product Managers, Senior Engineers, and leaders.
- Consider a variety of feedback channels to incorporate insights into future designs or solution fixes. Learn about the implications of security and compliance requirements in systems architecture.
- Collaborate with others to create a clear and articulated plan for testing and assuring quality of solutions. Write and learn to create code that is extensible and maintainable.
- Learn to conduct retrospective debugging of solutions to identify root causes of problems. Learn about and contribute to operations of live service as issues arise on a rotational, on-call basis.
- Learn to contribute to efforts to integrate instrumentation for gathering telemetry data on system behavior such as performance, reliability, availability, usage, and safety mechanisms. Learn to contribute to efforts to collect, classify, and analyze data with some oversight on a range of metrics.
- Learn about and helps to support communication with key partners across the Microsoft ecosystem of engineers.
- Constantly learn and grow as an engineer in the organization. You would eventually own the end-to-end life cycle of your features, from planning to managing it live on production.
Qualification & Skills RequiredÂ
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
- 2 years of experience with designing, implementing, debugging and launching commercial software products or web services
- Thorough understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms design and high quality code
- Zeal to learn and willingness to challenge yourself in exploring new areas & technologies
- Top notch, high-energy communication skills, collaboration skills, and drive for results
- Customer obsession, passion for technology & strong analytical skills
- Proficient in atleast one of Java/JavaScript/C#/REST Services/C++
- Previous experience with web services, storage, cloud computing, and large scale systems is a plus.
