Job Role & ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work between a number of MillerKnoll information systems to obtain critical information.
- Work effectively in HM & Knoll bill of materials, Smart Sheet, MySign, Business Objects,Creo, PDMlink, MS Excel, MS Word
- Work effectively in Excel to perform calculations and present output – BOMs.
- Ability to learn and established procedures and business systems to generate data and clearly communicate what the data means.
- Able to work collaboratively with other departments and suppliers.
- Gather material product information from suppliers for current and new products.
- Able to effectively update product drawings using Creo
- Able to effectively write ECOs in PDMLink
- Able to work independently
- Sets an example for others in the attitude exhibited and the high standard in the quantity and quality of the work completed.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested.
- Be able to work during EST business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) or at a minimum partially within those hours.
- Communicate frequently with key stakeholders on assigned project teams
Qualification & Skills RequiredÂ
- A bachelor’s degree in business or engineering field
- Must be open to new ideas and technologies
- Able to maintain a positive attitude in addressing concerns.
- Requires a self-starter who sees what needs to be accomplished and takes responsibility for timely completion of tasks and assignments.
- Must be respectful, tactful, truthful and professional in all communication and working relationships while representing MillerKnoll and its interests with internal and external partners.
- Ability to prioritize and plan workload, managing deadlines for a number of tasks.
- Must be willing to take ownership efficiently working to drive tasks to completion.
- Ability to understand the corporation’s values, goals and the objectives along with key financial drivers including EVA (Economic Value Added).
- Requires good listening, strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical matters to nontechnical audiences.
- A good level of written and spoken English
- Must be diligent in work, paying special attention to detail
- Self-confidence and effective interpersonal skills.
- Problem definition, problem solving, and project management exposure, including computer-based tools that assist in these areas.
- Ability to work in a team environment, supporting overall goals through active participation and valuing the unique skills and contributions of other team members.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested

- Ability to learn new software tools quickly
- Experience with finding creative solutions and ways to work smarter, not harder.
- Experience of materials and/or product manufacturing sector(s)
