- The candidate should be passed BE in Electronics and Communication, Avionics, or Computer Science Preferred.
Job Description – Pratt & Whitney Job Openings
- Play a critical role in safety critical aerospace verification to DO-178B/C standards
- Manage software artifacts change using configuration and change management tools
- Development of high level and low-level software verification artifacts including structural coverage analysis and gap closure
- Create problem reports for all failed test cases and issues identified with the product
- Support a conduct root cause analysis and corrective and preventative actions for escapes or impactful turn backs
- Participate in SOI activities with P&WA and P&WC
- Support program management, team, and customer status reviews when required
- Participate in process and tool improvement initiatives
Experience & Skills Required – Pratt & Whitney Software Engineer I Jobs 2023
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in safety critical control system and software development / verification.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure and flexible engineering environment
- Prior experience developing software in an Agile or waterfall framework
- Prior safety critical software verification experience
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO-178BC
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink or SCADE tool sets for software design auto coding
- Excellent cross discipline communication skills
- Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system, and control logic design and test is a plus
