Excellent skills in Android Based Testing in Embedded/Android TV/ STB Domain
Excellent in architecting, authoring, reviewing and maintaining test cases, test strategies and verify kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are in-line with Product requirements
Mandatory Experience in System validation & testing on Embedded Products Linux, Android based and non-functional testing skills like Load Testing, Performance Testing and Security working on Linux environment
Be a Quality Champion for the team & have ability to context switch across multiple activities like System validation & testing (automated or manual), maintain the continuous integration (CI) automated test system functional,
bug scrubs & root cause analysis working with development teams to continuously improve quality of the deliverable.
Collaborates with Quality Leaders in creating test plans. Implements and configures testing tools and at times help other engineers in the team. Implements system-level integration testing.
Writes effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified. Proven track record of very less bug leak rate to customer.
Experience travelling & working on-site closely with customer to complete acceptance & deployment of product.
Collaborates closely with development team in bugs fixing and build plans.
Proficiency in manual & automation testing for Android TV, STB domain
Ensures all the metrics related to test execution, automation are captured and shared with the stakeholders for review and continuous improvement.
Have a strong understanding of quality assurance and testing processes within an Agile environment with an eye toward innovating and improving test processes.
Thorough knowledge of software development best practices, source control management, build process.
Perform reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results
Good knowledge of Hardware, software embedded system concepts and architecture
Knowledge in system testing of Android/Linux Systems (Kernel & Native).
Strong verbal & written communication skills, analytical skills & ability to establish metrics, summarize and report at different levels of management critical quality data.
