- Design and develop existing front office Trading products
- Be involved in the delivery of new components and products from Alpha, Beta through to production phases.
- Work in an agile pod with the business product owner and other senior technologists
- Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture, design and other agile practices
- Contribute to building automated unit and integration tests
- Be an integral part of a high energy front office environment
- Be highly committed, and be able to build very close working relationships with both the business and support teams
Experience & Skills Required – UBS Global Software Engineer Jobs 2023
- Extensive experience in Core Java.
- Hands on experience with data structures, algorithms, frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST APIs.
- Experience in writing various kind of test – unit / integration / behavior / acceptance.
- Have used API / tools / frameworks like Junit / Mockito / TestNG / JBehave / Cucumber.
- Hands-on experience in RDBMS eg. Oracle/PostgreSQL.
- 2+ years previous experience working on React.js library
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML.
- Knowledge of React tools including React.js, Webpack, Redux and React Hooks.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Enzyme and Jest.
- Experience with git source control and continuous integration, gitlab ci/cd being an advantage.
- Experience with development on a Unix and/or Linux environment.
- Azure Cloud Knowledge is added advantage.
