ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Assist on the production, review and analysis of BASEL Capital Adequacy regulatory process controlling & reporting.
- Design & execute controls supporting the critical Regulatory Reports (Risk Weighted Assets, Leverage Ratio Denominator, Large Exposure etc.)
- Execute report pre-submission checks, implement control procedures, and review regulatory reporting requirements
- Execute and review key reporting controls (variance analysis, reconciliations etc.)
- Bring in process efficiencies/improvements/data quality projects to strengthen controls and reduce manual adjustments.
- Assess impact due to policy changes, new business initiatives and propose refinements to the control framework
- Prepare due diligence review decks
Qualification & Skills RequiredÂ
- A conceptual understanding of capital markets, financial instruments & accounting principles.
- An overview of banking & regulatory risks like credit/counterparty credit (CCR)/market/operational/liquidity risk – [preferred]
- MS Excel & MS PowerPoint skills to perform data analysis, results interpretation & presentation.
- Any of the key technical skill sets to support opportunities in analytics, automation & robotics. (Advanced Excel/VBA, programming/coding (R/SAS/Python/other), Database-querying (PL-SQL)) – [preferred]
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Exhibit Strong commitment to develop, maintain and abide by a strong control framework
- A strong team player, with commitment to high quality under tight deadlines
- A good communicator, both verbal and written.
- Able to work Independently
- Highly motivated, proactive, and self-driven.
