- Analysis, design and development of software for real-time embedded train control applications on Linux platform using embedded C
- Participate in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting software for safety systems per safety-critical software development processes
- Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to ensure efficiency and save program logic and data manipulation
- Work independently or with a team to develop solutions that meet project requirements within the schedule and budget constraints
- Facilitate support for fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities during system integration and validation testing
- Support customer test activities through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Make independent technical contributions in support of program objectives as well as interacting with customers and other Wabtec personnel

- Strong skills in C language programming
